Job Description and Role:

The Talent Agent will play a key role in growing and developing InterTalent’s share of business in the Broadcast, Digital, Branding and Entertainment sector by partnering with our clients to create an innovative, collaborative and operational environment in which each and all can reach their fullest potential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic management of clients with support and access to leading decision makers (Broadcasters, production companies, commercial partnerships, brand building, IP creation, marketing, content creation, creative services, digital strategy, live events, publishing, corporate events).

Client Retention – ensuring top level service and career progression of all those we represent.

Client Recruitment – focus on evolving and bringing in new and high potential, high revenue generating talent.

Keeping across all the latest deals: forming and leveraging top level connections across the industry: sharing all information with the wider Entertainment team

High level Negotiations (with full support) for all relevant clients and overall responsibility for your own P&L.

  • Significant Talent Management experience.

Thoughts of a Senior Talent Agent at InterTalent:

The role itself covers the day to day overseeing and management of artists careers in the entertainment industry. You should be willing to proactively source new work, income and opportunities for the clients by leveraging your contacts and building upon your network through meetings and introductions to key stakeholders in the business.

Management duties include: diary management, travel logistics, artist liaison, social media management, content creation, financial admin e.g. invoicing and contracts, attendance and accompanying the clients to TV records, photo shoots, events and red carpets, deal negotiation, proactive pitching and suggesting clients for new work, taking meetings with industry contacts.

Artist Manager (Chosen Music)

Job Description

We are looking to hire a game changing, enthusiastic, well organised, confident, pro-active, and forward-thinking Artist Manager. You will work with a newly signed (out of the US) but established global priority Artist, our existing writers/producers as well as developing your own roster.

This is an opportunity for someone to join a small knit team with global reach within a central London office. You will also have access to the wider entertainment (Scripted, Non-Scripted, Digital, ESports/Gaming) business through our partnership with InterTalent – the UK’s pre-eminent independent talent agency.

The ideal candidate will be a music lover, personable, adaptable, a huge team player, organised, possess high attention to detail with a proven successful track record. They will probably have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within the music business and be capable of functioning to a very high level in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description and Role:

  • Manage, oversee, and develop your roster of Artists, Writers & Producers (Roster), being across short term detail with long term vision.
  • Identify and pursue all opportunities to help your Roster increase their fan base and generate new income streams
  • Collaborate with roster to ensure all opportunities are explored and executed per their creative vision.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables for short and long-term projects across all sectors of client’s career including, but not limited to, writing music, touring, brand partnerships, digital and marketing activations.
  • Put together travel itineraries – liaise with travel and booking agents when appropriate.
  • Efficient daily communication and information flow with Roster and teams always ensuring confidentiality and discretion.
  • Act as key point of contact for all third parties, filtering information as needed and be a central point of contact to record labels/publishers/agents/lawyers/ etc
  • Plan all aspects of the Roster career including global release schedules, promo, social media plans, press, marketing, and touring
  • Handle copyright registrations and live performance reporting with PROs and agents. Maintain accurate discographies, synchronisation confirmations, payments, and song split sheets. Spot-check royalty and commission statements 
  • Travel both within UK and internationally to undertake various tasks on behalf of Management & Roster
  • Handle administrative tasks relating to the procurement of visas, passports, insurance policies, carnets, and other necessary business forms and functions
  • Manage relationships between Roster & their label teams, publishers, producers, directors, stylists and more

The Assistant Agent will manage all reactive logistics across the talent roster. They will work across a range of clients and cover projects in Broadcast, Brand partnerships, Digital, Publishing, Radio and Podcasts, IP development. This role is client-facing (with both talent and external parties). 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day to day coordination of talent careers. Close collaboration with agents and managers to ensure the talent strategy is executed to an excellent standard. 

  • Client diary management.
  • Complex logistics across a range of bookings (broadcast work, shoots, live events).
  • Secure, negotiate and manage brand partnerships from start to finish.
  • Coordinate social media strategies.
