InterTalent x BAFTA Networking Breakfast

InterTalent welcome 300 to their first Unscripted BAFTA Breakfast networking event.

For the first time since the pandemic, InterTalent have this February hosted their first Breakfast networking event at the prestigious BAFTA headquarters in Piccadilly.

Picking up from a long tradition of the annual event, InterTalent this year hosted their biggest ever Breakfast event celebrating their clients in Unscripted, as they welcomed over 300 clients, bookers and friends of the company to the newly refurbished premises at BAFTA.

Welcoming their contacts across television, radio, branding, podcasting and more, the event was studded with not only the best of the UK media industry but also the dynamic talent that bring British media to life.

Attendees were welcomed into the gilded event room at BAFTA, decorated with the infamous golden awards, and had the opportunity for professional photos taken by the InterTalent logo. With refreshments such as smoked salmon bagels, haddock kedgeree and fresh fruit on offer, the guests had the chance to chat and meet over breakfast.

Speeches were also carried out to mark the occasion. Beginning with a unique performance by viral sensation and BRIT 2022 nominee, Nathan Evans, the crowd was enlived by his rendition of the famous Wellerman Sea Shanty with a special twist for the event.

InterTalent’s Chairman & Founder Prof. Jonathan Shalit OBE then took the stage, using the opportunity to reflect on the past two years. Particularly drawing on the innovation of the team in times of hardship, Shalit illustrated how the company had used the pandemic as an opportunity to move from strength to strength, coming back more dynamic than ever.

Shalit was followed by InterTalent’s new Managing Director, Alex Segal. Helming new changes at the company such as the already successful Project 30, Segal drew on the Company’s incessant drive to modernise, leading to new divisions working on NFTs, the metaverse and in Esports and Gaming.

The Breakfast was rounded up with more opportunities to meet and network, the exchange of many business cards and a promise to return to the stunning BAFTA headquarters for future InterTalent events.
