Mattias Inwood was born and raised in New Zealand where he grew up performing in stage productions, eventually earning a Bachelor of Performing Arts from Toi Whakaari, New Zealand’s national drama school.
On graduating, Mattias was chosen to play series regular Richard Burbage in TNT’s WILL, about the young William Shakespeare. Soon after he could be seen playing Corey Welch in all eight episodes of TIDELANDS for Netflix. His numerous other credits include; Lorin in THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES, Max in BABY MAMA’S CLUB, series regular Tom Griffiths in SHORTLAND STREET, Zach in ONE OF US IS LYING and Blair in DOUBLE PARKED.
