Libby Thornton is a writer, actor, and comedian. She was a member of the Cambridge Footlights from 2020-2023, during which time she wrote and performed in the prestigious Cambridge Footlights International Tour Show which toured for three months around the UK and US as well as doing a month at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Libby also wrote and performed in the sketch show Horrible Herstories at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2022, and her debut solo comedy show, Libby-Come-Lately in 2023.

Libby has recently completed a Masters in Writing for Performance at the University of Cambridge where she wrote her debut feature film which is currently in development.

She is now working on a children’s comedy TV show, and a sitcom series whilst gigging as a comedian.
