David Jones is one of the foremost sports presenters in the UK, fronting Sky Sports flagship football shows Super Sunday and Monday Night Football since 2017.

Through a broadcasting career spanning more than 20 years, he has become a familiar face to football fans. His work on MNF with Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher has been credited with bringing new levels of insight into sports TV coverage in the UK.

On Super Sunday, David fronts a star-studded panel of guests that includes former players Graeme Souness, Thierry Henry, Roy Keane, Jamie Redknapp, and Micah Richards.

David is an NCTJ trained journalist who joined Sky in 1998 after starting his career with the Derbyshire Times newspaper in Chesterfield. He gained vital experience as a reporter before launching his presenting career in 2002 on Sky Sports News. In 2007, David became the host of Sky’s Football League matches and since 2012 has been working exclusively on Sky’s Premier League coverage.

He has also covered England internationals, Champions League matches, several major tournaments, and the Olympics.

David also has a unique boardroom experience after almost a decade as a non-executive director, first with Oxford United FC and since 2018 with Sunderland AFC — the team he supported as a boy.

David is also an accomplished event host and has developed a boardroom to business keynote around football data and marginal gains.

David is a keen golfer and hosts an annual fundraising charity day for Blood Cancer UK.
