Opportunity:

Ongoing expansion and growth have created an exciting opportunity to join the InterTalent Group finance team, supporting our finance managers:

Yasmin Beesley – Senior Finance Manager (joined Dec 2017)

Felix Mason – Finance Manager (joined Aug 2024)

The successful candidate will work closely with Yasmin and Felix across a wide range of tasks within both client and office accounting.

Location: Soho (4 days office / 1 day WFH)

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

 

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance or bookkeeping role

• Working towards or AAT qualified (or equivalent)

• Experience using Xero and Tagmin (or ability to learn quickly)

• Ability to manage workload in a busy environment and meet deadlines

Role:

The successful applicant will support the finance team across all areas of the department. A hands-on, detail-oriented role, ideal for an ambitious and diligent Finance Assistant looking to develop their skills and progress within a fast-paced, creative environment. Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication are essential, as the role involves interaction with agents, clients, and other internal teams. A collaborative and proactive attitude is key – we value teamwork, integrity, and a willingness to learn and support colleagues.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Senior Finance Manager and Finance Manager with daily operations

• Assist with client payment allocations, including royalty statements

• Help prepare weekly client pay runs via Tagmin software

• Support client and commission invoicing, VAT invoicing, and debtor follow-up

• Liaise with agents, clients, and staff regarding finance queries

• Assist with supplier setups

• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping in Xero

• Process supplier payments

• Process office purchase invoices via Dext

• Reconcile staff credit card transactions and prepare monthly expense analysis

• Support preparation of quarterly VAT returns and management accounts

• Assist with intercompany recharges and general forecasting support

• Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Finance Department.
