Talent Agent (Scripted)

Job Description

The Talent Agent will play a key role in growing and developing InterTalent’s share of business in the Acting and Entertainment sector by partnering with our clients to create an innovative, collaborative and operational environment in which each and all can reach their fullest potential.

A key position in building further InterTalent’s offering as the most driven and creative representation of leading talent across the Acting business. The successful applicant will be working within our unrivalled team in supporting our scripted clients in reaching their full potential in finding opportunities through innovation, collaboration and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic management of clients with support and access to leading decision makers.
  • Client Retention – ensuring top level service and career progression of all those we represent.
  • Client Recruitment – focus on evolving and bringing in new and high potential, high revenue generating talent.
  • Keeping across all the latest deals, forming and leveraging top level connections across the industry, sharing all information with the wider Scripted team
  • High level negotiations (with full support) for all relevant clients and overall responsibility for your own P&L.

Person Specification:

  • Significant Talent Management experience.
  • Proven track record.
  • Proven ability to attract and retain top level Clients.
  • Excellent industry knowledge and ability to use own initiative.
  • Clear and compelling communications skills.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and deliver commercial results.
  • Highly levels of energy and motivation coupled with the ability to thrive in a fluid, demanding and fast paced environment.

Skill Set:

  • Confidence when working with complex people.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Flawless organisational skills.
  • Good writing style and ability to construct compelling pitches, documents/decks.
  • A desire for a career, not a 9-5pm attitude.
  • Able to work and learn under fast past conditions.
  • A willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice.
  • A genuine interest and good knowledge of the arts, entertainment and popular culture.
  • A good understanding of social media and how to leverage and use the platforms.
  • Ability to create career strategy and critical pathways for you to execute on behalf of your clients, based on you and your clients shared vision and goals.

  • You should be a creative, passionate but critical thinker and have a good understanding of how to work with a wide variety of people.
