Bolton born Vicky Hawkesworth is successfully forging her career as a leading radio presenter with a fun and fresh approach.
After coming up through the ranks as a trusted cover presenter, Vicky first landed an afternoon slot on BBC Radio 1 alongside her co host Dean McCullough in 2022, It was the first weekday programme to move out of London and broadcast from Salford as part of the BBC’s Across The UK plans. Vicky now presents BBC Radio 1’s Group Chat, an exciting new weekend show Friday – Sunday from 10:30am alongside the brilliant Nat O’Leary.
