Valentine is an actor from South-East London. He started his inspiring acting journey incarcerated in HMP Brixton, where he was discovered by Synergy Theatre Project.
Valentine has just finished filming feature film, In The Land of Saint and Sinners, alongside Liam Neeson.
He won Best Lead Actor in a Play at the 2020 British Black Theatre Awards for his portrayal of Obembe in The Fisherman at Trafalgar Studios. He was also nominated for Best Newcomer at BBC Audio Awards 2021.
Screen credits include regular character Brandon in Unforgotten (ITV), and Enterprice (BBC3).
Theatre credits include Agatha Christie’s The Hollow (Riverside Studios); The Fisherman (Trafalgar Studios); The Suicide (National Theatre); Liberian Girl dir. Matthew Dunster (Royal Court Theatre); Cape, Burning Bird (Unicorn Theatre).
Valentine is also an R&B artist, and is a theatre director & practitioner at 2inspire in Southwark and Moxie Academy in Croydon.
