Tamara Saringer is a Musical Director and supervisor. Originally from Toronto, Canada, and now based in London, she has a specific focus in new musicals.

Her recent West End credits include the world premieres of Clueless (Trafalgar Theatre), Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) (Criterion Theatre) and the critically acclaimed Cable Street (Marylebone Theatre / Off-Broadway) — nominated for Best New Musical at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

She often collaborates with director Sir Trevor Nunn, and has also supervised and conducted new scores by KT Tunstall, Stiles and Drewe, Steven Schwartz, and George Fenton amongst others.

A passionate advocate for new musical theatre, Tamara has led over 25 workshop processes and regularly serves as musical dramaturg and arranger, mentoring emerging writers and supporting the development of new work.

Tamara also guest lectures at leading educational institutions including Arts Ed, Mountview, The Institute of Arts Barcelona and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, among others.
