Stu Bennett

Known to millions around the world as WWE superstar Wade Barrett, Stu is the co-commentator for WWE Friday Night Smackdown on USA Network in the United States and Netflix in all other international markets. He also commentates on some of the WWE’s biggest global pay-per-view events including the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania.

In 2010, Stu was signed to the WWE and became a huge part of the brand. He is a 5-time Intercontinental Champion. After retiring from in-ring action, Stu took over commentary duties for the hugely popular spin-off show NXT in 2020. In 2024, Stu became the co-commentator for WWE’s flagship brand Monday Night RAW (USA Network & TNT Sports) and moved to Friday Night Smackdown in January 2025.

Stu was the UK host of Sylvester Stallone’s Ultimate Beastmaster Season 3 on Netflix. He was also seen on ITV in 2019 as the main face of World of Sport Wrestling.

Stu made his acting debut in the Colin Farrell & Noomi Rapace film Dead Man Down. His film work includes the lead role of Bishop in WWE Studios film Elimators, horror film Fanged Up and as John Gold in action film I Am Vengeance & the sequel I Am Vengeance: Retaliation (Evolutionary Films/Saban Films) alongside Vinnie Jones.
