Sophia Pardon is a set, costume & occasional puppet designer. Sophia is a graduate of Warwick University, receiving 1st class (Hons) degree, and a graduate of the Wimbledon College of Arts MA in Theatre Design, receiving a distinction.

Sophia was recently Iris Theatre’s Summer Season designer for St Paul’s Church. Sophia also designed Iris Theatre’s new 70-seater winter theatre space in Covent Garden, ‘The Pod’.

Sophia’s other credits include A Christmas Carol (The Barn Theatre), How to Make a Revolution (streamed via Finborough Theatre), Gorgon: A Horror Story (VAULTS Festival), Faustus (Queen Elizabeth Hall), Neck or Nothing (Pleasance Theatre), The Little Prince (Omnibus Theatre) and Arthur and Merlin (St Paul’s Church, Covent Garden). Sophia is currently the set designer for the UK comedy tour Clinton Baptiste, which opened at Hackney Empire.

Screen credits include Luti Media’s Sylvia (as set designer), Chronic in Partnership with The Me Association (as production designer) and Flying Piglet Production’s Two’s a Crowd (as production designer).

Credits for drama schools include: Top Hat (set & costume designer), Once on this Island (set & costume designer), Legally Blonde (costume designer), Ragtime the Musical (puppet designer/maker), All the Things (set designer), The Curlew (set designer) and the European premiere of Spongebob Squarepants the Musical (costume designer) – Arts Educational Schools.  Red Velvet (set & costumer designer), Machinal (set & costumer designer), The Laramie Project (set & costumer designer), Consensual (set & costumer designer), Days of Insignificance (set & costumer designer), Made in Dagenham (set & costumer designer), Guys and Dolls (set & costumer designer) (Italia Conti Academy of Performing Arts).

Awards include shortlisting for Told by an Idiot’s Naomi Wilkinson Award. Sophia has also been selected as a year-long resident at the NDT Broadgate Design Studio.
