Omid is a multi-award winning stand-up comedian, actor, host and writer.

He has been performing his stand-up to huge acclaim since 1994. Most recently, he performed his new show Namaste on tour in 2025/26.

Tonight With Omid (Emshab ba Omid), a Persian language chat/sketch show, made its debut on BBC Persia in 2022 and was screened to an audience of 12 million across the world.
