In 2025 – 2026, Mads takes on a variety of compelling television roles, including Per Johansen in A Buried Secret (DR / Yes Yes Pictures), Jan Fredriksson in Tatort Dortmund – Blood Culture (Zeitsprung Productions), Rissler in FBI: International S04 (Universal / CBS Television), a supporting role in Smilla’s Sense of Snow (Constantin TV / ITV International), Moritz, a paraplegic doctor and series regular in The Eifel Clinic / Die Eifelpraxis (ARD Degeto / UFA Fiction), Ole Paulsen (guest star) in The Northern Murder Cases / Nord Nord Mord (ZDF / Network Movie), and Erich Bunke, the main antagonist in The Secret of Bispebjerg Hospital (TV2 Denmark / Tiki Media).
FILM
Mads traverses effortlessly between drama and comedy, and has recently taken on leading roles in November Second (2025) as Peter and Soap Angels (2025) as Fausta. He also appears in a supporting role in Shenanigans / Drengestreger (2025). Moreover, he has starred in The Angel Maker directed by Esben Tønnesen (2023), Out of the Darkness directed by Anders Refn (2022), and the award-winning short film The Deportation of a Model Citizen (2022). In the past, he has collaborated with Oscar-nominated directors Jan Komasa and Nikolaj Arcel in Warsaw 44 and A Royal Affair.
STAGE
For nearly a decade, Mads has been part of the innovative Mungo Park Group Theatre, starring in several pioneering productions, featured at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe among others. He’s tackled classic roles from Shakespeare to Chekhov, Ibsen, and Molieré at major Danish repertoire theatres. He also dabbles with musicals and concerts, most recently playing the antagonist in David Bowie’s Lazarus at The Royal Danish Playhouse.
VOICE ACTING
As one of Denmark’s top voice actors, Mads has lent his voice to thousands of commercials, audiobooks, documentaries, animated films, award shows, video games (including motion capture) and more. Internationally he has voiced and physicalized a leading character in the upcoming MMORPG sequel Kingdom Come Deliverance II (Warhorse Games), due to release in 2025.
TRIVIA
When he’s not acting, Mads loves action sports like mountain biking, climbing, and skiing. He also enjoys going to town on the drums and his guitar, whenever he gets the chance.
