She next stars as lead role Queenie in a major new revival of The Wild Party this summer. The production opens at new venue eartH Hackney on 12 August.
Best known for originating leading comic roles in the West End, Laura established herself as a musical theatre favourite playing Dawn in the original London cast of Waitress (Adelphi Theatre) and Adele in the original cast of Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s Cinderella (Gillian Lynne Theatre).
On screen, Laura recently made her screen debut as a Youtube Exorcist in season 2 of Disney+ comedy Extraordinary.
On stage, Laura played the role of Ann in Nick Winston’s Half A Sixpence at Kilworth House Theatre. Previously she played Cynthia Weil in the UK Tour of Beautiful; Jenny in Eugenius (WhatsOnStage nominee – Best Actress in a Musical), and Story Sandra in Big Fish (The Other Palace); Teen Fiona & Little Red in Shrek (UK Tour); and Veronica in Betty Blue Eyes (UK Tour).
