Angel City and Lioness star Katie Zelem is a force to be reckoned with in football and beyond.

Born and bred in Manchester, Katie’s natural skill combined with her tenacity led her onto playing for her childhood club; the dream for all aspiring players.

Her years at MUWFC went from strength to strength, pushing her through the ranks and landing her a spot, representing England in the Women’s World Cup in 2023. Katie took this huge honour in her stride and did the nation proud by contributing to our wins, taking us to the final.

Katie captained MUWFC to The FA Cup in 2024 before signing for LA’s newest club, Angel City.

Outside of her commitments as a player, Katie regularly hosts content for all major sporting platforms; Sky Sports, BBC Sports, DAZN and more. Katie also was the feature of an ep of ‘Karen Carney’s Leaders of The Pack’ series for ITV. She speaks heavily on being a female footballer and her struggles of coming up in women’s sport.

Katie aspires to work closely with young aspiring women to continue to encourage the growth of women in sport and the workplace. Katie is currently undergoing her business management degree to help mentor young women in all aspects.
