Jeanna de Waal grew up in the UK, training at ArtsEd Tring Park and the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). After a year performing in the West End production of We Will Rock You, she moved to New York to pursue a career on Broadway.
Since then, Jeanna has become a staple of the Broadway community — known for her standout roles on stage and her intimate solo cabaret performances. She is best known for originating the title role in Diana: The Musical, a performance that earned her a Drama Desk Award nomination and was captured for global audiences on Netflix.

Jeanna is also a sought-after vocalist, featured in projects such as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Lyle Lyle Crocodile (Pasek & Paul), Spirited (Pasek & Paul), and Blake Allen’s Grammy-nominated classical composition Insomnia.
