Harbingers of entertaining chaos Awkward Productions is comprised of Joseph Martin and Linus Karp.

Their new show, “The Fit Prince” was announced in Variety and is set to continue their signature style of interactive, fourth-wall-breaking theatre.

Following a sold-out, award-winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe, ‘Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story’ returned to the fringe for an exclusive 1 week run after running at The King’s Head Theatre in 2024. Combining drag, multimedia, audience interaction, puppetry and a lot of queer joy it is a unique celebration of the People’s Princess and is as hilarious as it is tasteless. The show won Best Play at Edinburgh Fringe at this year’s Offies.

Their sell-out show ‘Gwyneth Goes Skiing’ features original songs by Leland (RuPaul, Troye Sivan, Cher), with a special video appearance by Trixie Mattel (RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3 winner), and the singing voices of Darren Criss (Glee, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story), and Catherine Cohen (Edinburgh Comedy Award winner). The show has had a transfer to the site of the fateful trial with a run in Utah, USA and a sold-out run at Edinburgh Fringe.

In April 2024 they put together and hosted “The Glasgow Willy Wonka Experience Quiz & Game Experience” at London’s Clapham Grand, featuring Rob Madge, Deborah Francis-White, Kate Butch, and Felicia – the actress who played The Unknown in the real Wonka Experience they were spoofing.

Joseph has worked on a freelance basis as a Producer and Assistant Producer with BBC Radio since 2016.
