The big hit over the festive period was undoubtedly BBC1’s remake of Worzel Gummidge, thanks to a stellar cast featuring Francesca Mills.
The series revolves around the adventures of Worzel Gummidge (Mackenzie Crook), a scarecrow who comes to life. Two orphans arrive at a farm who meet Worzel and join him in the adventures.
Francesca stars in the role of Earthy Mangold.
