BBC Sport has revealed its latest documentary, iPlayer mini-series Mark Wright: The Last Chance.
The programme follows the TV personality and presenter on his final attempt to make it as a footballer, after he signed for League Two Crawley Town last month.
BBC Sport will cover Wright’s effort to break into the first team at Crawley Town, and embark on a new career. One of the driving aims of his time will be making the team for the FA Cup Third Round match against Premier League Leeds United on 10 Janaury – which will be aired on BBC One.
The first two episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer from 9 January, with lead executive Steve Rudge saying: “Mark signing for Crawley Town is an interesting story and one the BBC wanted to get involved with to follow his commitment in making a dream come true in the professional game.”
