Prior to joining InterTalent, Millie was a Senior Talent Manager at YMU. While at YMU, Millie signed online trainspotter Francis Bourgeois in 2021 for full 360 degree management. Under Millie’s watch, Francis grew from 500k TikTok followers and 70k Instagram followers to a combined 5.7 million followers. Francis worked with brands such as Gucci, Dior, LEGO, and Trainline and collaborated with celebrities such as Joe Jonas, Sam Fender, and Rosalia. Millie sold his debut book The Trainspotter’s Notebook in a significant six-figure pre-empt to Transworld, and he fronted his own Channel 4 digital series, Trainspotting with Francis Bourgeois.

Millie was invited to attend official functions at the White House twice in 2023 and 2024 for her work in talent management. During her time at YMU, Millie also managed talent such as Poppy O’Toole (Poppy Cooks), the bestselling author and self-confessed ‘Potato Queen of TikTok’, Jemma Solomon aka The Label Lady, Jane’s Patisserie and My Mulberry House. She has a strong specialism in literary deals, and while at YMU sold children’s books including Stephen Mulhern’s bestselling three-part Max Magic series and Tom Daley’s children’s novel Jack Splash. She also sold Lizzie Frainier’s dating memoir The Main Character, which has been featured in The Times and Cosmopolitan Magazine.
Millie began her career in publishing, following an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in English Literature. She became an editor at Bloomsbury, working on prestigious reference books Whitaker’s Almanac and Who’s Who. Millie then joined the Puffin team at Penguin Random House and worked with bestselling authors including Jacqueline Wilson, Greg James and Chris Smith, Fearne Cotton, Katie Kirby, and Carrie Hope Fletcher, and she worked across the Roald Dahl publishing strategy. She commissioned the middle grade mystery The Detention Detectives by Lis Jardine and was longlisted for the prestigious Branford Boase award for editorial excellence.
